WTB GS500!!!

Hey guys,

I'm new here. I joined thinking I was going to get to discuss the GS500 I was going to buy today, but realized the kid selling it to me was jipping me. Anyways, can't blame him, he was going to sell a 91 GS500e for $500. When looking at it, the gas tank was jacked up, chain super rusty, and I was told the carb had to be completely rebuilt. That's way out my price range for now. I just wanted to check if I could somehow get a bike around here for a decent price that RUN'S or at least needs minimum work done to it, (like needing a new battery or something). I have $700, who can make this happen around the Maryland Area? I'll go all the way to north virginia, delaware, new jersey, west virginia and south pennsylvania. Can anyone help me out?

I'd say keep your eye open on craigslist and watch the craigslist thread on here, for that price (not sure how the market is over there) i would expect you to be able to get a well used bike that runs, or a bike that is taken apart and the PO doesn't know how to fix
