Looks like the "debate" is over.

All hail The Great and Wise John!

The on topic stuff will pick back up when the weather warms up in the spring.

If even all the topics have been covered concerning the GS, all the riders have not been here to see them all. The GS is well known as a beginners bike so there will be new riders joining all the time. They may ask the same questions that have been asked several times over. Yeah, they could do a search but it is usually easier to just make a new post. As for the riders that have been around awhile, do you feel a responsibility to assist new riders with their questions and problems? If not, you should! I may have been riding for over 25 years, street riding since '86 and owned over 10 motorcycles, but I am still learning new stuff about the GS every day.
Common sense in not very common.

I've done my fair share of off topic posts but I noticed that a lot of o/t posts eventually become on topic so to say. I dont want to go fishing around other boards also, one is simple and quick.
