WTB GS500 Engine

Looking to buy a GS500 Engine, preferably 2004 or newer because of some of the minor differences I have seen discussed.

Hoping that the forum goers will be more trustworthy and easier to work with than those on ebay/craiglist.

They are very similar except for minor differences but
They swap very easily

'04+ has oil cooler. Otherwise the engine is the same.
All newer engines have PAIR system. I believe only California models of older engines had that. You can block it off. Not needed unless yu're in California and they get cranky in an emissions test.

You swap the timing rotor and pickup if putting old engine in '04+ bike.
Change carb intake boots to match your carbs.
