I like that the power band is a little more smooth. I have K&N lunchbox with 20/65/142.5 and Iridium plugs. The only thing I don't like is that the lack of an airbox causes there to be more intake noise. Not a problem for commuting but kind of annoying on a long trip.

Mine is an 07 with a K&N lunchbox, currently jetted at 20/62.5/142.5 and stock exh for now. I'm still tuning mine but it is a turn key engine

I have a setup identical to Worm's.  Here's what I think:

Plugs foul a bit more at slow/idle since I sit in traffic (it's my daily runner, lots of idling) during low speeds.  I probably need to adjust my mixture screws a bit.  Yes, the intake noise is a bit louder, but it does not bother me.  Just reminds me that my engine is working.

My cold starting procedure with 20/65/142.5 is the following:

Shift to neutral, kill switch in the ON position, choke all the way on, turn key, crab clutch, hit start switch, engine immediately fires.
Blip throttle.  When it reaches 3500-4000 RPM, which is pretty quick, adjust choke to 3000 RPM.
Run at 3000 RPM for about 20 seconds, then slowly ease off choke.
Take off riding.  Never stalled yet.

I will mention that my bike ran like hell when it was cold.  Turned out to be poorly adjusted valves.  When was the last time you adjusted them?
Bikeless and Broke at the moment...
