How come pictures of watches, and clocks are always positioned at 10 and 2... there must be something to it than just uniformity, right?

Shshshshshshhhhh!!! ... If you mention it out loud then they'll know we onto them!!! ....

but they can't read purple words so this should be ok ... The global 10 & 2 thing is the 'hold signal' for the alien invasion dude!!! ... But ya gotta keep an eye out ... First time you see a picture with the hands at another position ... Start runnin dudes!!! ET is coming down to open up a big can of whoopass!! ... The gubbamint keeps it quiet so there ain't a panic   :cookoo:

Numerology!

The time is 10:10

Convert that to decimal as if it were binary and you have a decimal 10:  8 + 2 = 10.
Now, that new decimal 10 is in reality a binary 2. Why 2? Because there were 2 1's and 2 0's and there are 2 numbers used: 1 and zero.

There are 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary, and those who do not. got to play with an Oscilloscope today @ shop. got to test out a few pieces. enjoyed work today. which rarely happens. ( health doesnt allow that much.  but being busy helps out :). btw adidas, if youre ever in the neighborhood, dinners on me. i owe you at least that much.

yup just about all autos are like this. if you wanted you could wear it TO work, then remove it put in safe place. ive gotten almost 30 hours out of a frolex auto. friends kid trashed it.  ( broke springbar first time, crystal second. ) had aNICE movt in it. i put that watch in my parts box. have this calibre 8700 eco drive now. the casio is going to cods as soon as i get the funds up for postage. so i dont wear it anymore. btw cods, whats the nearest major city to your home? so i can set watch before i send it?

Not really a watch post here, BUT am trying to find a coin bezel for a maria theresa coin also known as a thaler. its a 1oz silver coin bezel measures 41.5mmx2.5mm. similar to this
http://www.ebay.com/itm/COIN-BEZEL-Sterling-Silver-AUSTRIAN-MARIA-THERESA-ce-/230446388779?pt=Fashion_Jewelry&hash=item35a7acd62b

coin doesnt bring much by itself. ( around 35ish. but coin in bezel is bringing close to 80. anyone know where i can get one ( in silver)  as inexpensively as possible? going to put this on market to help father.

actually ill offer to trade the watch for a wheel and throttle cable for the trail ripper. this needs to get on the road soon. my leg muscles are locked up tighter than a virgins lol the wheel is magnesium so i cannot weld it. they also make a plastic one too.
