Hello all.  I have had the fever for a while now and I finally went and bought a 97 gs500.  The bike has 20, 000 miles and I got it for 800.  The bike runs but needs some tlc.  So most likely this forum will become my best friend.  My first issue is the gas tank.  It has a lot of rust in it.  What is the best way to get it out?

Welcome.  Hope to see what you decide on doing with your tank,....and some pics!

If it were me, I'd look up the electrolytic rust removal info and get to it.
