Wheel Lift

Looking to buy a wheel lift for my 2006 suzuki gs500f.

I see this ones on amazon and their super cheap.

Front and Rear

It doesnt look like there is anywhere on my swingarm or front tire to put the little spool things or does this stand not require those? I am looking for advice on what kind to buy and if there are different kinds. I would really hate to buy a set and have them not fit. What brands do you guys have if you have any for your motorcycle?

The only problem I had with my ebay rear lift was that although it said it would fit many bike and did fit mine, it didnt fit mine "good". Yea, it lifted it fine but not how I liked it. In the end, I narrowed it and welded an extension on the end to get more leverage and make it a lot easier to lift

So your bike frame just sits on the little rubber things. Is that secure? Does your bike wobble at all when your working on it or cleaning it? Also are your rear pegs custom or just missing the rubber?

They are called "paddles" and its secure. Ive never had an issue.

I do have a front chock from Harbor Freight that I keep my bike in. It is mounted on a sheet or plywood ripped in half the long way (2'x8')

My rear pegs are custom (ebay)

I dont have a front lift but if I want to lift my bike then I would simply use my floor jack

Let me see a pic of your bike if you got some! I am trying to do something with the turn signals. I really dont like that they stick out so much, they just seem awkward and dangle around alot. I want flush rear ones and mirrors with turn signals. Cant really find any flush ones on the web that I like though. i want to make sure there bright and I only see smoked ones.

I took my mirrors off my fairing and replaced them with some mirrors off ebay with LEDs in the for turn signals. They not mount on the bar. My rear signals are LED turns also. I bought and replaced the signal flasher with one made for LEDs and they work fine. I will see about some better pics tomorrow. In the mean time you can go through these

How did you cover the hole where the turn signals used to go? Your steering looks really cool is that stock? Mines a bar all the way across, really like the look of yours.

Ive got a replacement front fairing that Im working on. It had a small piece of ABS I cut and put on the back of the fairing and it plastic welded in place. It is then getting filled in with filler, sanded down smooth and then painted. I was going to wrap all my pieces in 3M diNoc carbon fiber (already did some) but Im going to have everything hydro dipped

The bars I just put on. I bought from another member here but they are on ebay. Go to ebay and type "37mm clip on"

I use this pair. The front is a head lift so you can work on forks and such. I have used these on numerous bikes now. All you need to do is make sure you ask for the 21mm head pin and then get the swingarm paddle adapters. They are very sturdy.
