Found a shop near me, .65 cents a square inch... wonder how many square inches the bike is.

They sell it at Walmart I believe. Not sure about the primer. Automotive section.

Were you able to find it locally, or did you get it online?  My wife really liked the look of it, too, and she controls the purse strings, so we may try this as soon as we can find some of the wrap.
Why are you looking here?

I'm 99 percent sure they do not sell carbon fiber vinyl by the roll and I'm very certain they do not sell 3M carbon fiber

Also, 65 cent per square inch is a bit high for around here. You can buy water transfer ink off ebay and get the solution for it also. Plenty of vids on YouTube on how to do it

For the tank though, since the stickers are actually underneath the clear coat and can't be removed, I'm guessing they will show through the wrap/hydrodip?

Since you do this sorta stuff, do you know a rough guess of the square inches on the fairings/tank/tail?

Sorry, I do not. But if you take it to them and show it to them, liek any shop they can give you an estimate

In order for it to be done correctly with hydro graphics, the background usually needs to be one solid color. So the tank would need to be painted a base coast first and then dipped, then clear coated. In that process, the tank COULD be stripped and the stickers removed. Alternatively, if they were not removed you would feel them in the finish but likely not see them unless the light hit the edges just right.

This may be a stupid question, but did you do this with the muffler on or off the bike?  If you left it on (my guess) how difficult was it to work the sheet around the swingarm side of the heat shield?

It was done with the exhaust left on the bike. With the right tools and skillsets, it's not hard.
