I never had an issue starting my bike until the other morning when it was cold. Thinking my battery was just old and tired and obviously weak, I went out and bought a new one.

But when I went today to take the core back in, I noticed the low acid levels. Moral of the story, go out and CHECK the levels in your battery.

That's why I keep saying, first check your battery levels when it starts getting sluggish to start.

You typically don't lose acid, just water.  If it hasn't been tipped over, just add distilled water.
