Cable holder/ spacer?

:thumb:

It is - specifically a product made by Roxtec for getting a lot of cables through the same hole and allows you to add and remove cables without affecting the weather seal (IP68). some of their other products are very useful for keeping water out of basements that comes in through ducts.

the answer err the easy yet incorrect answer would be a piston.  the correct answer would be..... ( the piston underneath, I wish to know  what it came out of. has a distinct  name/title/type
btw the piston above the ruler is a cbr600 circa 2001ish. "borrowed a set from MMI in 01. " almost enough t o build a new engine. almost got a crankshaft too.

Wish I could get one of those lol. and add to this collection but no. cant show you the top side of it. cause its a pretty significant clue. one clue however 2 valves  one measuring roughly 2 1/2" other being 2 1/16"  next cluie is pretty major.  so will hold off a tad

GM 2 stroke diesel ?
very close.  a 2 stroke diesel, just not gm  May give the answer or the manufacturer tomorrow eve. I realized I set myself up for failure on this one. but figured a wth deal on it. I collect  oddball pistons for some reason.  this one as part of a set I bought on ebay in 2005 the bcr piston  used for comparison, is going to be the foot on my cane here soon. specially once I get a better cane. but in meantime will use it on the one im currently using. Anyhooo back to the game :)

2 stroke diesel makes me think train. For some reason I assumed the 2 stroke diesels didn't have valves but I don't see a reason why they can't...  would probably get a tad bit more efficiency that way.

yamahonkawazuki

If I keep this going it would be details not easily thought of. cause its now getting into nitpicky stuff lol. it is a 2 stroke Detroit diesel. ( from a tractor trailer. was told by seller is a 6-71 but am not sure. or a 6v71 but a Detroit 2 stroke for sure. technically youd be correct if you ahd said a 2 stroke in a road train lol. going toi go ahead and call you winner on this. or as I say, meh close enough :)

Someone else can take this one, real busy with work this time of week and won't have time to dig something up. Otherwise it'll be a few days.

If no one else does something by this evening I'll toss something up when I get home from work.
