It is designed to compress a spring

It is a tool used to modify an aftermarket add-on/replacement accessory - it comes with the aforementioned accessory

You know how certain companies make a wide array of one type of accessory for many types of guns but require a proprietary item along with it - it's like that, mostly

if it were internal, perhaps. one i used to use was worn on belt. ( had to stop due to no insurance coverage. it was about size of small pager. as most are nowadays. seems to take some type of tubing ( @ bottom there in picture)

Edit - I got the photo via a work mate here - his father had a pacemaker swapped out - he is an engineering sort, and they let him keep it.

I've never seen one. Seriously, that was a pure off the wall guess. Something about the plastic fitting thing on top made me think of it. After the fact (the next day) I looked up pacemaker and low and behold, there was a picture of some that look similar. My brother had his replace a couple years ago and they let him keep the old one. I'm going to ask him to see it.

Now, I'm gonna find something really hard for the next pic.

If they let him keep the old one, it will probably be all wrapped up like this one was.  Amazing little devices, probably could have done with one this morning on the way in when I had a muppet change lane <1m from the lane to the left of me to my lane with no indication... ah, must be Friday
