I'm gonna make a sticky image size thread now! Lol. . Maybe on weekend. .

Can't get really good look on phone screen, contrast/brightness not size issues! .. the cable bit and the square thing. . Is that it? .. just I think I see a bowling ball shape below/right of the square?

mennobike

Please do!

Yeah, cable bit and something square, opening the image in a new tab (on a computer at least) helps a fair amount with seeing it.
I'll have no idea what piece you're referring to unless you include one of the following: Doobly doo, thing-a-ma-jigger, or dibbledy dop.

axexandru

That's a climbing nut. you use it to secure yourself, at the other end should be a loop, to put a carabiner on it. Am I right?

Oh man, Axe beat me to it!
Specifically, it's a jamb nut, but I say Axe takes it!  :woohoo:

axexandru

Well, mennobike should decide :)

Elmojo

True. He may be looking for a more specific guess, although I'd say your description is spot on, unless we're both totally fooled and it's something else entirely.  :-[

mennobike

Well it's a keychain version of a nut, but there's no way to tell from the picture. Didn't expect climbers on a moto forum, darn! Axe takes it.

Us climbers are EVERYWHERE, didn't you know?  :icon_mrgreen:

Ok Axe, take it away...

 :woohoo:   I win!
Oh dang, now I have to find something to post.
Okay, standby, searching office....

axexandru

That is what I did, and that was the most strange thing I had around, and it was to easy for you, I have to find somthing harder next time.

That's the trouble with a lot of these items, either you know it immediately or you'll never get it.
The really good ones are those that take some deep thinking and investigation.
That's really the point, to make us think and learn something new about the world that we didn't know before.
Now, let's see if I can find a tricky one....  :icon_twisted:

Elmojo

OK Gents, give this one a try...
I've discovered that my office has a dearth of interesting things. lol

Yeah, I was afraid that would be too easy.
Oh well, I tried.  :-[

Ok rage, do a better job than me at posting something worth guessing.

ragecage23

Looking for a real specific answer

Oh man, that's a tough one.
Looks like a mounting plate of some sort, but I know that's nowhere near specific enough.  :dunno_black:

ragecage23

It is a mounting plate, but if you can guess what for then I'd say you got it.
