I am in Melbourne, FL not Australia
Took the MSF course a good 6 months ago thinking I would start riding right away... just now have the money and time for a bike.
I considered the 500R but I really like the looks of the GS500F more

I know that  :cookoo: I saw where you were from. I was just sayin' that it was a ripoff even is Aus where EVERYTHING is expensive lol
I am not interested in anything you have to say

I would try to talk them down on a GS, though if you post in our trade thread you might get a better deal, food for thought. Personally my bike was $2,000 with a salvage title and was rebuilt by a pro shop (then again by me) with 7K miles. look into the upkeep for sure.

and dont mind the sarcasm, we give each-other crap on here alot, but atleast we're fun, right?

I agree with iclrag, talk them down. Even a few bucks off still helps. I bought my 05 gs500f with 3800 miles for 2250. Had some scratchs but not bad.
Rub some dirt in it, you'll be fine!
