Shortened Side Stand

Am looking to buy a shortened side stand if anyone has one.  I would also be able to just shorten the one I have if someone could just send me a picture showing where I need to cut the existing side stand and weld it back together.

I bought an extra one off ebay for $10 shipped. I cut it about an half inch above the top peg. I went to Lowes and bought a short stick off all thread to cut to length and put inside it for extra strength. I think it was 5/8. I beveled my two ends, butted them together and welded them. I have done my grinding and smoothing and it's perfect. However, I'm out of black powder coat so I had to stop there and order some. I cut out a half inch of the standard btw.
