Smoke with Choke

Hi there,
I started my bike after say five or six days today. Winter has already started so I engaged the choke before pushing the start button. Bike starts perfect, but then after about forty seconds I noticed whitish smoke coming out of the exhaust. I closed the choke and the smoke was all gone. Bike is running perfectly, no problems whatsoever. Is it normal what I have experienced or something to worry about?

Thanks..

If it's been sitting for a couple days that may just be condensed frost/water in the pipes heating up into steam. It could also be unburnt fuel vapor blowing out, since choke basically dumps a bunch of extra gas into the cylinder to aid in cold starting. When I start after a cold night I get a bit of the same thing with my bike.

+1.  I get the same thing on very cold mornings.  Once it warms up and the choke is off, it goes away.
Bikeless and Broke at the moment...

Same stuff you see out of a cold car's exhaust. Prob just water vapor. If the smoke lingers a long time it's oil. If it dissipates quickly it's water vapor.

Mine does it also.
