Ok, so I am finishing up a rejet of my 2006F and when I am putting the carbs back into place I noticed that this t-fitting (arrow pointing to it in teh pic) is cracked.  The bigger problem is that I don't have any left over hoses to connect to this fitting????  Can someone help me out here with telling me what this t-fitting is for and if there is supposed to be a hose attached to it?  It's a very flimsy rubber and not a tight seal between the two carbs, so I can't imagine it's anything overy pertinent.  Thanks

Your pic is small but if it is that black T between the two carbs and is that connects the two, it is a vent. There is no vacuum on it and you can temp leave it as is although for a long term solution I would advise you buy a new one

Thank you for responding so quickly.  Yes, it is the black t that you describe.  Is there a hose that is supposed to be connected to it?

Ok, we are talking about two different fittings.  The fitting that you just sent the link for is located above the one on my pic and I have that connected to the canister you mention.

Yeah, it's just the vent based upon those pics.  I'm trying to attach a bigger pic here...Thanks!

That is the vent for the carbs, just attach a length of tube to it and run it along the left subframe rail to an area behind the battery.  There is no pressure on thet hose and it just keeps the carbs from vacuum locking.  Be sure to point the end of the vent hose toeards the rear of the bike to keep from wind blowing back into it.

Thanks for the input.  Not I just have to diagnose why it is bogging down after rejetting!
