Hey GSTwin!

I thought I would introduce myself! My name is
Tyler, I'm a brand new rider who just turned 18
less than a month ago. I Just picked up a 2005
GS500F about a month ago.

I live in the beautiful Northern California, (ok, it's
a bit of a stretch) and I was curious as to if there are any
of you guys up here with me.

If so, let me know! I honestly know practically 0
riders other than my Dad, and he's a Harley guy,
so I'm looking for the Naked and Sport riders!

One simple question. What's the proper way to prime
the bike? Switch to prime, let it sit, or just try to start
it right away? I don't get to ride it much with the weather
and work.

Follow my bike thread here for things I'm doing to it:

Im on the opposite coast but welcome to the fam all the same.

To prime, I put it in prime, wait about 10 secs and try to start it. Choke may or may not be needed depending on a few things
