Thanks, I'll have to see if PA has the advanced course.  I was serious about my son taking it if it's available -- there too many yahoo's on the road here, on 2 wheels as well as 4, to ignore the opportunity.

Thanks.  Braking, evasive maneuvers etc... sounds like good things to know around here.  Or, anywhere.

The advance course I took was actually much cheaper but it really was just the same course only you are on you own bike instead of their's. Not bad to go through except if you put it down you have to pay for it. On top of that, I took my basic course on a Buell Blast (piece of junk, no good, crotch pounding, poor clutched shaZam!) that was actually harder than going through on the GS.  The more information you can have about riding is always a good thing, but many of these things can be accomplished with an experienced rider to help out and a quick google search on setting up a course in a parking lot.
Friendly fire, isn't. But it's the most accurate. Semper Fi

Got my endorsement last year. OR, requires anyone under 30 to take a course (that's only offered like 4 times a year) by 2016 or something it'll be everyone has to take a brc or irc. 250 big ones.......that suk'd, but was worth it. I've only been street riding for a year and I've got plenty to learn. I took the brc, which really taught me a lot. I got 100% on the field but I got an 89 on paper. Damn tests. I'd take it again. I don't think I have to pay to take it again, as a refresher. Might just give em a call to find out.
Rub some dirt in it, you'll be fine!
