Yea, I'd like to pretty my bike up a bit too, but who am I kidding? my bike is rough around the edges, I would have to dump so much time and money into it to get it looking top notch, and the nicks and dings give her character! Lately I've decided the work and money I dump into my bike will be only to keep it mechanically sound

I keep telling that to myself. And the more I say I won't drop money on it, the more I want to. I can't stand owning ugly things. Really I just need to paint the fender and engine, but it doesn't look good yet! I want an R6 or something of the like but want a nice GS. And the longer I own this thing the more I want to keep it

I agree with the keeping it sentiment. I'd have so much to do cosmetically: paint and fill in tank dents, sand and paint exhaust, somehow clean the engine, probably replace my tail plastics, paint the damn frame, shiny up every metal part, replace gauge covers. I guess its not so much, but considering all the time, money, and energy that would take, I'm just gonna leave it as is for now...unless I come across some money...I'd just replace all those things in a heart beat...except the frame...I'd have to remove everything from the frame first...what a drag. Maybe when I have a 2013 R1 black as a back up bike. Then I'll pretty up the gs
