I expect I'll be riding with Twisted today but on his GS I think... where was that? I don't recognise a lot of the roads... but some of it sure did look like Splityard... I need to get out that way again actually!

Pete,

The Warm Up section was Splityard - that we me on the Duc
The Fun section was the western approach to Mt G.

After the sweepers the road looked kinda like newer surface. Like how it looks after a spray of tar and sprinkle of aggregate. So I slowed down not sure of the surface. When we stopped Twisted said it looked normal - I hardly ever go on that road he goes often.

Aaah cool, I haven't done splityard for ages. I would've done it on the way back yesterday but I ran out of time.

Those long fast sweepers sure are fun out there!
