PayPal frustration...

My account for hacked and PayPal contacted me to get everything fixed. I have faxed in everything they asked. I was told 2-4 days and it has been a week. It normally wouldn't bother me much but there is an auction I am rather eager to bid on on the fleabay, and I can't since I would be unable to pay for it.

Specifically it is an auction with just over an hour for a dull set of gauges with all caps. Zero bids $30 free shipping.
I asked if he would accept money order, no reply. Such is my luck.

Do you really want a set of damaged gauges?
I was looking at that for acvice for a Seattle member.
Look at the upper left. Note the bracket is bent? See the sharp lines of rust above and below the trip meter knob on the bracket?

Description also states the back plastic cover is broken.

Gauge. SHOWS 35,636 MILES, INNER PLASTIC BROKEN.

You don't want them unless you plan to buy a back cover and a new metal bracket.

You can't see the upper left of the speedo - but I suspect road rash there based on the bend of the bracket.

That is the reason it has zero bids.

PayPal always is an a$$ when it comes to things like that. I've been through a lot of crap with them and WISH there was someone else I could use for online payments. Card payments is not an issue but SO many places so Paypal now that it's hard to do business without paypal. It sucks I hate them but have to have them so I know what you mean

The clocks and the caps are what I was concerned about. There is a guy locally with the ring for $15, little rusty but I was going to paint it anyway. Somehow overlooked the "inner plastic broken" line

haha, I've been waiting on a grant refund for over a month now. At this rate I'll have my taxes back first.

I wanted to have all my parts bought and hopefully painted by valentines day.

helps to have 2 accts. the one associated with my debit card, is my main. but i have an alternate in case, like when i set marys birthday collection, i used my alternate, to hold my own funds, ( to keep them seperate) OR to cash a prepaid CC. or for cases such as this that thank GOD ive not had the displeasure yet.

I may look into making a second. The waiting is killing me becasue there isnt just ebay things I would like to buy, but there a couple members here who I'm sure wouldn't mind my money haha.

was recent paypal hacking going on. IIRC adidas or someone posted regarding this. my main acct i cant transfer the prepaid cards, cause funding sources are used up. no more room. but i can trqansfer via the alternate to my main. hell its free lol.

ill trade you some of my email lottery winnings. scams everywhere. to the OP im sure when they contacted you, was it via email or? the scam thing tried to get me. i called the number on my paypal debit card. to verify.

I got an email, thought it was fake. Tried logging into my account with no luck. Had to get a PIN number for them to call me......yadda yadda....wait what feels like a lifetime for them to refund the money and unlock my account.

i hear ya. had to do that once. ( my reason for the pin text, was health kinda zapped my memory. this was AFTER i had won an ebay auction. seller was understanding. perhaps someone here can broker a sale / purchase for you?

Perhaps. I know I have offered to pass on local CL deals to a couple twinners if rhey covered shipping costs. Weedahoe took me up on it for a cheap set of 01 plastics. But its cold enough here for the next few months I have no need to be in a rush. Not like I can ride. We got almost 10 inches of snow yesterday.

i hear ya. once i get my ducks in a row, ill be glad to help out however i can. check with adidas , hes our famous, ( or infamous lol) parts whore here. hes helped out many a twinner here. in some way sahape or form.
