jardine got sold

I went to order a couple parts for the Jardine exhaust I got for a steal. They said parts will take a while to locate. They just bought Jardine and have a couple semi's full of parts like someone just dumped the whole inventory in them like heaving crap in a dumpster. It will take them a while to sort out all the parts and locate the silencer and mounting strap for the can.

I guess Jardine systems will become collectors items?

They said if they knew where a GS500 system was, they'd swipe the strap out of it or some other box. Seems all the parts inventory is a real mess.

Now these are all combined together into one company

Oh, the person I talked to said the GS500 is a wonderful bike. She has friends with bike collections and the GS is their favorite to ride. Of course I plugged the GStwins site!

This is too bad, I have really been keeping my eye out for a Jardine system... no luck under the $500 range, which seems very high from what most have said about their typical cost.

I guess I'll look into slip-on, but I really like the idea of just reattaching my stock exhaust when/if it comes sale time and selling the full jardine.

I have a couple crap exhausts where the can can be cut off (someone buggered up the OEM can so it is junk).
I guess you missed the Jardine system on ebay a few weeks ago for $150?

Well, I saw it.. but... I noticed it was going to need a strap.  I also wanted the silencer so, like you, I looked em up.  Everything for Jardine was out of stock or backorder.  I didn't call anyplace about it though, and that turned me away. But I have been keeping my eye out for jardine stuff to turn up again.

I was just on the phone with them.
Things are still a mess - 20 semi's of parts and tools, all thrown in them.
They are sorting it all out.

Jardine is not dead. They bought the company to revive the line.

They are looking for the parts for me. I asked them just now to look for 3 or 4 straps and silencers. They are also looking to see if a strap from a different exhaust will fit.

I'll keep everyone up to date.

Missed out on another Jardine on ebay today...

Went for regular price though if you add shipping, so I guess I didn't really lose out.  It also had a bit of scratches, so I probably wouldn't have paid full, new price for it like the winning bidder.
