i dropped the bike recently going about 20-25 mph on a tight, wet turn. the bike landed on semi-muddy grass on its left side. i drove it for another 5 minutes to take it home, cleaned it up a bit and let it sit for a day or two. obviously its not running as well as before i dropped it. its not as smooth when driving off from a stop. i have to stay in the friction zone for a while till it picks up enough speed or it'll stall quick. im a noob when it comes to bikes. what should i do/ check for? thanks in advance

Check your clutch lever and cable slack, as well as the cable routing and ease of motion. Make sure there's not mud or anything on your spark plugs or lines. Check your kickstand safety switch too. Aside from those, basically go over everything on that side carefully to make sure nothing's out of place.

If the bike was laying down for very long smell your oil for gas.

Also realize that you may be inclined to ride slower after the crash which could make it feel different to you.

Aside from those, are there any other symptoms you have noticed at all, or just that?

thanks for the list. sometimes it makes what i guess is a popping sound at low rpms

+ check the airbox for gas and check that the carbs and all are seated properly
