All of your controls you would keep and put on the new front end. The brakes, rotors, caliper, rim/tire you would keep.

Check out this ebay listing. It in are the forks, lower and upper triple and stem with bearings. I have the same thing but with it will be the fork brace and top OEM clamp. If you want me custom clamp and after market bars I can include them but again, for a small fee

Allright, looks great. Let me talk to my dad about it tomorrow morning and I'll let you know. Thanks!

I don't think a Kat front end in itself will "throw off the dynamics".  A ham-fisted install, or bent parts are more likely suspects.  Mine was installed right, and it's all pretty straight, so rides AWESOME.

As for putting your parts on a stock GS front end: The Kat rotors are slightly smaller diameter.  Not enough to worry about IMO.  You will only have a brake caliper mount on one side, so you will need to cover the holes in your wheel on the right side... Or leave the brake rotor there so you can say "Hey, I have dual front rotors!"  You might want to change your master cylinder, since the Kat MC is designed to push two calipers, and you will only have one.  I am not sure of the compatibility of Kat wheel and GS forks.  Others here can probably confirm that.

I do have these which I have not been able to find a home for. They're going to recycling as soon as I get a pile of parts together. It looks like what you have so you could swap it for one of these so it would look better.

Ok, I may just rebuild the handlebar design. Could I have one or two of these?

PM me your address and I'll mail them to you Monday for free. I hate to charge a noobie when we need to get noob's started off with good experiences. Pass the good will on to someone else.
