Someone local to me is selling the whole kit pretty cheap. I kind of like how it looks, wondering if anyone has installed one on a GS so I can see how it looks, and hear the pros/cons.

hrrmm.... i KNOW there was/is one .. not question your search.... the lad even fab'd up his own alloy housing and angel circuit i think?...

and if i am not confusing it in my skull... also had coloured led in the lined 'eyebrow' bits above/to the side of the main lens??...

Are you talking about one of the HID projector retrofits? Because weedahoe did an awesome one with the different color leds.

I am looking for someone who purchased the same or similar one, and fabricated a mounting system.

$25 4th Gen mini HID ballast
$20 for a pair of bulbs
$15 for a H4 plug

halo ring costs vary by type, size and manufacture

Either way, a lot cheaper than your link.

That is cheaper than i thought. This guy wants $65, unopened never used. I'm sure I can fab something up to use the stock light mounts, or possibly to the bottom of the top triple where the gauges will mount. (If I ever purchase any..) I have no headlight of any kind on my 91 after I took off the fairing it came with. Do you think it's worth it? Or is it just a headache waiting to happen?

Well, Hopefully he has it when I get paid next week. Ill pick it up and see if I like it. If all else fails Ill throw it up in the FS here and pass on the deal to another twinner.
