Had my first real group ride about two weeks ago: A VFR, an EX500, and me on my GS.  Funny thing was though, I seemed to keep up no problem.  I mean of course pulling out onto the road they dusted me, but once in the twisty curves, I had no problem. In fact, I led them at one point and looked in my mirror and saw that no one was there.  I don't know if they were backing off to make me feel good or what, but it worked.  Anyway it was alot more fun to ride with someone and not really have a destination.  The one guy offered to let me ride his VFR.  I declined as the roads were full of winter time debris, gravel, and salt.  I may have to try it this spring though.  Anyway,  can't wait to do it again, but I'll wait till it gets above 40 degrees!

Group rides can be great if with a smart group...

I usually ride with a couple of friends, one rides a 03 600RR and the other a 86 Ninja 900.  I've ran into the same GS charm of the twisties revenge...

Happy riding!!

Group rides rule!  I prefer groups of 5 or more.  Twisties were no problem keeping up and we rode with a honda 954 and other bike over 1100 cc

I want twisties!  All I've got here in the 'Peg is straight roads... mind you it's -20 C right now and the GS is sleeping for another 4 or 5 months.

Pity me...  :(
I broke it... I bought it...
