The What it This? game and Yama's nuclear reactor parts got me thinking about things that we may have that are not expected to be in the hands of the general public.  I'm not talking about something you might get arrested for!

I have a 200mw laser. Cant buy in the US. I had to have a friend order it for me from another country and then ship it to me in pieces.

Strongest you can buy in the US is 5mw

You can see this MILE away. It can easily burst balloons or ignite match heads.

Lasers are cool. I've worked on/used 5kw (and smaller) lasers before. That sucker would melt a 20lb block of hardened steel and titanium in seconds. Only this type of laser was invisible, as in no visible dot or beam.

what id like to get for my engine room. since i already have the engine chandelier in progress, ( need 6 rods and pistons. anywhere from gs size to a 3.8 v6 or anything. well the rods really. light fixtures will go where the wrist pins are. also in dream land, want to get my hands on a piston from a ship. or something large enough for a table base.
in my grandfathers office, ( home im in now since he passed) have the budget for the clinch river breeder reactor project. ( 6 binders of everythign. including said bearing and spacer. ) the nowadays govt waste of money, this is it in print LMAO
