The bike is located in the Kansas City area.

It has just over 5,000 miles.  It needs a new battery, clutch, and a carb clean to make it ride-ready.  It does not currently start as the current battery will not take a charge.  I am selling this bike for my brother, and he doesn't want to invest any money in it, he just wants it sold.  He typically works 60-70 hours a week and does not have time for the bike.  It has a clean title and has never been wrecked

$1500

I am amazed how much price difference there is between regions.    Good luck with the sale!

I suggest putting a battery in her. Bikes are hard to sell if you can't start them.
That would go for over $2500 here in the Pacific Northwest.

Without being able to crank it, you are basically buying parts. You have no idea if it runs so $1000 would be the most to expect.

If you put a battery in it and it even runs a little - even if rough, then you have a RUNNING BIKE and that will get over $1500.

Right now, it will be hard to sell. Priced too high for a parts bike. No  one will pay that much for something that could be a dead hulk.

When i showed up to check out the gs 500 i have now the guy couldn't get it started. It was in its own motorcycle storage thing with no fuel in it, clearly guy cared about bike to spend $300 for the bike storage shelter thing).  I just sit down on my trailer and said figure it out, i drove an hour here to see a running bike. 2 new spark plugs later and a crappy battery that was jumped it started and ran. I would never buy a bike i cant hear or test drive, even if its just watching the owner drive it since a lot of people wont let you test drive for obvious reasons.

So other words, go to walmart and spend the $30-40 bucks for a battery so you can fire the bike up on request.. On the bright side you can charge $1540 for it :thumb:

P.S: If he want's just 1500, you better price it at 1700 or 1800 as the new craigelist is haggling people down thanks to that new show on tv..
