Hey All - The O-Ring for the bottom of the piston guide (see pic) needs to be replaced per the manual. I don't see it on the fiche and so I don't have a part number for it. Does this come in a rebuild kit?

Also, the end of the emulsion tube has a flat side (circled on the pic). Does it matter where this is positioned? I moved the tube out of the guide and not sure if I have it oriented right when iI put back in.

Thanks.

Those o-rings are not available as a stand alone part from Suzuki.  Some on these boards have done the measurement and replaced it with an appropriate size round o-ring (the original is square and would be almost impossible to find).  As long as it's not disintegrating or in multiple pieces then I would say you are pretty safe to put some 2 cycle oil on it to lube it up and keep it from drying out and use it again.

There is a pin the sticks through the part of the carb where the flat side of the emulsion tube should go.  That pin works with that flat side to prevent the tube from turning when you attempt to unscrew the main jet.  I actually had it happen on on of my carbs that the pin had been pushed out of the hole enough that the tube could spin in position freely.  I had to hammer the pin back in with a punch in order to unscrew a stubborn main jet.  If that's not the case for you, then all you need to do is make sure to align that flat side of the emulsion tube with the pin in the carb body.

Thanks,  bombsquad83. I suspected there was a particular alignment for that due to the flat area.

That pin is so small I would have NEVER figured that one out. Thanks bombsquad. That was a huge help. Carbs are back in and working fine.

You're welcome.  Glad I could help.  No substitute for experience, and I had plenty of experiences with my carbs.
