Carburetor Problems

I have an  gs500f. The problem is that when I am approaching a stop the bike will turn off, if i do not give it a little throttle. I can stay there and eventually I will get the idle where i want it to be 1.5  rpm.  DO NOT tell me to clean my carbs they are clean, My air filter has also been replaced. I think that it might be an oxygen sensor. If so can someone help me locate it. I just want peoples professional opinion. THANKS

There is no oxygen sensor.
I do not mean to be rude, but that you think there is an oxygen sensor shows some lack of knowledge of the bike. Fuel injected bikes have that, csrbs don't.

So maybe open up to some suggestions and let people try to help you.

My first suggestion would have been screw in the throttle stop a little (aka idle adjustment screw.)

A heated o2 sensor does exist...but not on a bike with a carburetor. You won't find one on a GS500.

When was the last time you adjusted your valve clearance?  What you describe is a classic case if tight valves.

By the way, carb tuning will yield nothing if your valves are out of spec.
