Has anyone posted a lunchbox air filter install with some pics in the past?  Just wondering.

You have to remove the stock air box altogether. Once you do that, you simply fit the lunchbox over the inlets if the carbs and tighten the two clamps in place

And the airbox drain hose is no longer needed i take it.  I removed the airbox this morning & it really frees up a lot of space.  I'm gonna order my lunchbox later today.   :thumb:

Any advice on where to shop for a lunchbox filter and will I need to make any adjustments to the carb settings?

I ordered mine from motorcyclesuperstore.com, but there are several places that carry it. The install is pretty straightforward, though due to the inlets not being perfectly round, I found getting the rubber boots on the first time a bit of a pain.

As for carb settings, yes- they will need rejetted. If you plan to put a new muffler on it, do it now so you won't have to rejet twice. If you put the K&N on without rejetting, you'll be running super lean and you'll have problems.

So if I wanna blow flames out my exhaust pipe do I want extra lean?  LOL

Actually, extra rich will shoot flames out your exhaust. Extra lean blows holes in your valves. :)

It seriously cleans up the interior as well, if i didnt just finish playing with mine till it was perfect i would get a lunchbox or pods, but now that i fought the air box back into the frame its staying there for a while.
definitely a great addition though
