Hi. I have a 07 GS500F and am looking at getting an integrated rear light. The ones I am looking on ebay are for the 03-06 models. Any idea if they will be compatable with the 07?

Many thanks

The only bad thing about them is that the turn signals are so close together, its hard to tell which way you are really turning from behind. A guy I ride with has some on his Busa and I stay a distance behind sometime because I cant tell

I have pretty much the same (but smokey) unit on the back of my 2010 model. You will need to change the plugs but otherwise straightforward. The unit I got was marked as being from an Early Honda Blackbird (CBR1100XX).

With the brake light on, the indicator does tend to get a bit lost so I decided to also keep my original indicators which gets around any legal issues.
Wherever you may be, there you are.

If you care about being legal, turn signals must be 9" apart according to the DOT.

I agree that integrated turn signals: Which way are you turning?

Thanks for the answers. Much appreciated. Will hold on to my originals in case I have problems.  8)

Agreed, why many people put smaller outer turn single where the stock ones mount. I highly recommend this as most car drivers wont have a clue which way your turning with just the tail light.

I almost did the inergrated thing when I swaped out my rear tailight but saw one at a bike night and I could not tell what blinker he had on and I was 50 feet behind him. Decided to not do it..

+2.  The weather was nice yesterday.  All the fair weather riders were out in full force.  Was behind a dude on a CBR with an integrated turn signal tail.  Looked like an eBay special (Aesthetically and functionally).  Needless to say, it was a useless piece of crap and he's gonna get rear ended some day.  I agree that the turn signals on the GS aren't the prettiest but there are better aftermarket options that can really add some style to the bike without going integrated.  Maybe there are really good integrated tails but so far, I haven't experienced a really good one.  Just my $0.02.
