I picked up some Bel-Ray EXP Synthetic 4T Engine Oil today. My bike (Honda VFR) has been running full synth so far. I wanted to try something different. It cost a small mint ($38). From what I read blend oils can help with shifting and I was hoping it would smooth out the shifts on my 5gen VFR a little.

Anyone ever use Bel-Ray?

I run Rotella in my GS and other air cooled bikes with no problems. But, I just don't feel right putting that in my VFR with the engine having tighter tolerances.

Somehow I knew that was coming.

Lets call it a lube thread. Or better yet, a hot steamy slippery dripping wet clean dip stick thread.

Rebound and compression increases with preload stiffness in your tube if your viscosity remains viscus. A good lube also keeps your crankshaft loose.
