The tight chain attached to the monkey's neck make that a rather sad pic.

It does look a litte sad.... And probably is just what it looks... Plus the chain can't be a good thing

BUT ... That photo is a frozen moment in time .... The chain could have gone taut as the person stepped and the monkey stopped pushing with feet? .... Slim chance I know!.... But 5 mins later the lil guy coulda been up on his cushion with a fruit snack and getting scratched under the chin... From that single photo we can't know!

I am against cruelty to animals in that way, (but I used to be a shooter/hunter and it's lack of time/interest that stops me now) ... However I am also somewhat against those PETA yokels .... They are expert in hype and spin and capturing the worst possible moment of things.... And for that I don't trust them to provide full 'truth' ...
