nail in tire help!!!

i obvisiously am ok, i did not crash becuase of the nail. but i have a 3 or 4 in 2 by 4 nail in my rear tire. what to do? :dunno:  suggestions

How many miles on the tire?

It's really best to replace the tire if you can $$ wise.... If You decide to have it plugged-make sure they do the plug that has to be put on the inside of the tire. Kind of like alittle mushroom that gets glued in.... You can take the wheel off yourself to save some money on labor....

If at any time it's a front tire- you always replace it.


Typically you always want to replace them if you can. It's not like you are in a car that has 4 tires and  can be controlled alot easier than if you lose one on a bike.....
Bottom line is it's you that's on the bike....
