I have searched this site for some information regarding this air filter and found that most people utilize it with an aftermarket exhaust. They use something like 147.5/150 mains. At the moment I have no plans on buying an aftermarket exhaust due to lack of $$. My question is if I only change the air filter to a lunchbox style K&N air filter (I hate working on the bike with the stock air box), what jet sizes should I rejet the carbs with? I have a carburetor problem and have to take them off to fix or send out anyway and figured I'd rejet/change the air filter while I was at it. I've read if I kept everything stock, then I'd rejet with 40 pilots and 125 mains. Am I correct in my thinking going up to like 126-127 main and keeping the pilots at 40 would be enough with just the new air filter? I live 10 minutes away from the beach so I believe my elevation is very low if that helps and I have an older model bike and only need pilots/mains. Thank you
