Ok, so I sold my GS500 a few months ago and I'm in the market for a new bike.  I've compiled the following list of bikes to look at this week (I mostly do short hops in town but would like 30min-2hr rides, some 2-up... I'm 6'/165lbs and gf is 5'8" 125lbs - and no, she will not gain weight because if she does, she's getting replaced w/ someone of that approximate BMI :nono:).
I know they vary from standard/touring to sports bikes and even a 500cc - but if the condition/mileage/price is right, I don't really care what it is - 500cc's has been plenty to get me around so far.  I want to get a good deal and to not lose my butt off when I sell it in a couple years.

1. 2003 Kawasaki ZR-7, 15k miles, asking $2100
2. 2000 Kawasaki ZR-7, 5k miles, asking $2950 (super clean), new tires, batt, etc, hoping they'll take $2500... this bike is CLEAN
3. 1998 Triumph T595 (995 motor), 29k miles, asking $2000 (needs new stator), nearly new tires, batt, paint
4. 2005 Ninja 500, 2.9k miles, $2200 (price already negotiated)
5. 2000 Kawasaki ZX6R, 2k miles, asking $3200 (don't have that much but hoping they'll take 2.8k)... new tires, batt, etc... bike is like new, just not sure I want a complete crotch rocket.
6. 2002 Suzuki Bandit 600S, 5k miles, asking 3k, new tires, batt, brakes, carb cleaning
7. A bunch of 2005-2006 SV650's with anywhere between 7k and 12k miles, garage queens, asking $3200-$3400 - FUEL INJECTEDDDDD  :D
8. Couple low miles mid 90's Harley sportsters in a variety of conditions/prices
9. An 87 Harley sportster w/ 3k "original" miles at a pawn shop - looks like it's been sitting around.  Asking $2200 - don't think I'd pay more than $1500 with all the elbow grease it needs in polishing.

I'm no fool when it comes to pricing these and I'm offering on some of them quite a bit less... but just trying to see what you guys were thought about these bikes and if you had any experiences with them.   :)

Got the ZR-7... #2.  It was the cleanest bike I've seen with the lowest miles that was the closest to me.  Not having to burn a tank of gas to pick it up was awesome.

Twisted

ZR7 is that the one that looks like a 4 cylinder GS500? I think they're called the 750 Zephyr down here (Australia).
