I was going to do a video with cell, but that did not turn out well(my cell records a annoying buzz sound). Also I'm sorry about the quality of the pics, my cell refuses to focus(seems that's a hint I need a new one).

First off I was not expecting the plate you spent hours and hours on to be in the box weed, so expect a paypal transfer from me down the road out of the blue.

Firstly we can all agree these are not Vortext clip ons, but i think weeds point was what's the difference quility wise. After spending a an hour looking over them and the ones on my buddy's bike, I can honestly say not much.

The clamps are exellent quality overall and not much difference then Vortext. The only difference is what i pointed out in other topic(and a groove machined into vortex). They both are made from exactly the same materiel  (I even confirmed this via Vortex and the China ebay seller. Both messaged me back with what was used to make theirs).

There was a comment made about the screws stripping on these because they where "cheap". I strongly disagree and can prove this is incorrect. I tried my damnest to strip them by over torquing them, and as you can see failed to do so... Like stated above the quility is just as damn good as Vortex.. If your still inclined that Vortext is better I'll sell you a Vortext sticker for $50, basically that's really the only reason you pay extra for Vortex, your buying that name and reputation (just like that big green tractor)..

The bars them self are the exact same Vortex almost. I say almost only cause there was a hair difference to these and those on my buddy's vortex bars (weeds where actually thicker!!!!!). Overall that's the only difference i could find.

The ONLY big difference is Vortex runs the screws from the top and slit on the side where the bars them self slide into the clamps(and the grove which serves no purpose). That is the ONLY thing that tells this set apart from Vortex.. After studying these weed sent me I can honestly say anyone who did not buy these where dumb not to just because they where not Vortex. If you did not buy because you thought the quality was less then Vortex, I tell you that your greatly misinformed and WRONG.

After seeing these and comparing to vortex I would have been pissed if i bought Vortex over these. Vortex extra expense is not worth it, however if you want to buy a name then by all means go buy Vortex.... Just know these are just as good as Vortex, and IMO better price/quality wise compared to Vortex (talking buy new here).

If anyone as question feel free to ask. I'm a bit to tired to go into a major detail review, but think I covered everything I wanted.

Weed THANKS for the clip ons!. I did not expect the plate and can tell you spent some time on that as its amazing in person. Diffidently expect a paypal from me down the road when i have the extra funds.

To the ones's who did not buy these  :flipoff: :flipoff: :flipoff:

P.S; I have not read over this, so maybe update or do follow up of anything i left out.

I was on the chinese vs. name brand debate as well not too long ago. Glad to know that the difference in price doesn't make a difference in quality.

I ended up getting Vortex clip ons anyways but that was before this review came out. Just wanted to add, if you are getting name brand, check to see if there are any "used" packages for sale. I got my clip ons at a severe discount because it was an open box model (but still uninstalled, no scratches, holes, or markings on the bars).
