To relay or not?? (FIAMM HORN QUESTION)

I installed a fiam highway blaster horn on my 2000 gs for a little extra noise when the cagers dont see me.

The question is do I need to wire the switch to a relay and pull the current directly from the battery, or can the switch handle this much current? :dunno:
The instructions call for a 10A fuse on the circuit, but I am not sure what the horn actually draws? :dunno:

I definately dont want to burn out a horn switch that could be expensive to replace if it can be saved with a relay, but at the same time, I dont want to have to wire up a whole new circuit to power the horn.

Any thoughts, or experiences?

If you only have one horn, you can probably get away with the stock wiring.  If you want an excuse to set up a relay and separate fused power supply, simply add another horn.   :)

I would love to have a dual tone on my bike by getting the low note as well (have the high note)!!!!

But where would I install it?  It seems that the single horn is already a bit larger than stock, and I dont think I could get another horn in the same area infront of the engine.

Any ideas where they could go?

I eliminated my horn in favour of a choice finger and a hard boot to the car. Cheap, and effective. And AMUSING!

something that would be cool is to run the wires through the frame. 8)
