i`m also looking to gat a drop in k&n air filter.

Thinking of getting a dynojet kit,am i doing my money.
Should i just get,the 40 pilots,and 127.5 mains.

if so,were in the uk can i buy them.

I just purchased a 2004 GS500F. From experience, can anyone tell me if I should do the break-in before or after changing the can (looking for a slip-on) and the filter (using pods)... or can I do the mods can, jets & filters right off

Dont go pods before break in. Can or not wont matter but break in with good jetting will reduce the wear it will incur cos it will run cooler. So I'd jet it right before break in and then do pods if you want. However you cant test the up high jetting etc too well so you'd have to jet it and break it in before revving up anyway. Now 04 jetting may well be different form an 01-02 and is definetely different from 89-00 so you need to figure what jets to use.
