The bike was stolen and damaged was done but still has clear Title?? The guy wants $650. I offered $350. He claims it runs but needs a battery. It's not in riding condition because it's apart!! In the listing he states that some of the fairings are in bad shape. What you guys think?

verify VIN with police, not DMV. Friend of mine got burned that way.

I would be suspicious of any ad that doesn't show the bike as it is now.
Stolen then painted? The recovered?

We had a member not too long ago where his was stolen, painted, laid down and then recovered. It happens( unfortunately)
