I've always wanted a white bike, and finally got around to getting the panels/tank repainted.  Used one of the original Suzuki gs500f paint colors (pearl white) as a base.  Also sprayed black PlastDip on the forks - I think it turned out all right.

Next is to get the clipons installed.

:o That looks amazing!! I would like to do this to my bike in the future. What was your process for painting it?

Wow very nice!!! Probably one of the nicest gs500f's I've ever seen! Why the clip-ons though, are you going to do track days or just prefer the feel?

He does not have clip ons, just the standard bar is what it looks like.
I am into buying bikes that people have given up on and fixing them up!

RIP Patrick Lajko, I miss you man.

what kind of seat is that?

Seat looks like one from Top Sellerie. Adidas has one on Suzi with a custom embroidered logo. You get the best price on them if you send a seat core to them, though they are in Europe so it's a little cost prohibitive for some of us.

Is that a Sport Touring windscreen? And, any plans for artwork of any sort on the side fairings? (not that white isn't a cool look)

It seems it has become necessary to qualify my posts:

Sorry for the late reply, works been kicking my ass lately.

I had a local shop paint the parts for me, I just don't have the time (or the skill) to do a good job with painting.

The windshield is a zero gravity touring windshield dark smoke.  I had to special order it as they don't keep it in stock normally - guess they don't sell many in that color.

As for the clip ons - besides the look of them which I love - just want to try them out for myself to see what the new stance with them would be like.

The seat - Kyled25 is right, its from top sellerie.  The seat is a huge improvement over stock, and the backpack (aka the wife) likes it better as well.

As for graphics - I probably will end up doing something eventually just not sure what yet.  The clean look will do for now though.

I'll get some more pics posted up this weekend.

That does look freakin' amazing. I never thought I'd like the look of an all white paint scheme, but thats gotta be one of the best looking paint jobs I've seen.

Looks really good. What did they charge you to paint it?

A bike without decals or insignia always says 'crashed and rebuilt by amateur' to me. So you're off to a good start but far from finished.

How about some high temp grill paint on the exhaust pipe between header & muffler? The shiny pipe looks a little out of place to me....plus it would really make that shiny muffler pop.

Looks really nice regardless!

Lol.  I know, its big.  Big enough to hold me and the backpacks helmet anyways. When the wifey is riding along, says it makes her feel more secure.

I like you're idea, and taking a look at the pics again, you're right it does seem out of place.  Maybe I'll get some exhaust wrap in black.
