anyone know where you can buy aftermarket friction plates here in AU? Need new clutch for my gs, and suzuki have told me that for all friction plates, steel plates, springs and gasket I'm looking at $355... Seeing all our american counterparts are buying full kits from between 90 and 200 bucks I was wondering if there are any aftermarket suppliers down here or are we f%&ked, as usual... WHY IS EVERYTHING SO f%$king EXPENSIVE DOWN HERE??????? Much f%$king frustration...

Apart from second hand ones from a bike breaker I don't know off hand.... But bloke!! ... Order them suckers from overseas!! ... They don't cost THAT much extra for shipping!!

yeah thats what I'm leaning towards, eh.. concsidering I could probably order the whole clutch assembly, plates, basket and springs included, including shipping for less than just the plates here... f%$king ridiculous..

It's our invisible magic 'border' ... Works exponentially on prices!  :icon_rolleyes:

I've just been quoted $298 for a shim removal tool from an Adelaide Suzuki specialist supplier.
There's a few on ebay for $20.
