Your Leather Jacket?

Just purchased a leather jacket with armour.. Nice firm fit, though as tough as nails, well not really, but I wish they came broken in... Is this the norm?

To a degree yes. What brand is it? My Dainese jacket didn't need breaking in.

I find it depends on the quality of the leather, I had a regular ol cherokee leather jacket, it was stiff, and lumped up in all the wrong places, but then I got a drospo/taurus jacket, it was old, but had just been shelf sitting its whole life. It was a little stiff at first, but it broke in great, and with a little bear grease, it molded right to my body.
Go get some leather conditioner, rub it in really well, and go for a long ride, let the jacket take a set to you.

Well I'd expect that from that brand Twisted for what they charge   The one I got is a RST.. Got it for 200 reduced from 350.. So I suppose it's like steak, got the cheap cut, so it's a bit tough!

RST is a decent brand.
Anyway, use leather conditioner, it will help to soften the leather.
As others said, Dainese, Alpinestars and Spyke Suits/Jackets I've tried didn't felt stiff at all. Just one gloves from Spyke did need a break in.

Agreed. There are different kinds of leathers. My Technic is very heavy. Its not soft and but stiff either.

Mines very heavy as well, just need to get use to it , though I think I'll try a leather conditioner.
