Looking good already ....cant wait to see the end result

If you got dry (non humid) and warm weather it will cure a lot faster.
In any case, you are not using one of those Poly-urethane paints ? If so, they need you to be done with all painting in 18 hours. They somehow sorta cure by doing some type of epoxy type base and hardener BS.
Of course I have also had epoxy not set before ... so no clue.

Cool.

Thanks!
My dad has a monster 696 and the engine and head are almost the exact same colors. I figured Ducati knew what they were doing so I tried to emulate those colors so as to be subtle. It turned out perfect. Subtle enough to not draw away from the paint scheme but still cool enough to stand on its own.

Summer is basically here man!! Sucks I wasnt there to see it get finished, but glad I could at least help a little bit. You gunna be over there Sunday? I might come over and we could go for a little ride.
I am into buying bikes that people have given up on and fixing them up!

RIP Patrick Lajko, I miss you man.

adidasguy

If Sunday is nice, I suggest Vashon Island. I am so up for that.

jacob92icu

I might be able to do that, if we get an early start. I'm gunna be taking the bike over the mountains this week lol

Can do. Then do your basic maintenance after we get back and you're ready to go over the mountains.

yappahgo

That is straight up beautiful, man.

dropped the bike Saturday.

Driving along following my GPs and I missed a turn. At the last second I saw a dirt road and it looked fine, so I turned in.

sadly it was not fine it was bumpy and gravely. I dropped the bike on the left slide going like 5mph.

ALL DAMAGE was absorbed by R&G bar ends and the Frame Sliders

THANKS AGAIN PATRICK!!!!

I'm glad it wasn't a bad crash and there was no real damage. Still sucks that you dropped it though.
