Hi Guys/Gals

After all the help i got with my last problem maybe you can come through again for me.

My bike has and aftermarket headlight/turn light fairing installed which I need to replace.

Driving home last night I was cut off by a straight truck who proceeded to toss a golf ball sized rock my way.
Thankfully the fairing took the brunt of it however as you can see from the picture it has a nice size chunk missing.

Does anyone recognize this fairing and have any idea where i can get a new one?

Hey, I'm a very cheap person, thanks to my dad just the way I was raised. Being such I would just go ahead and try to fix it, Urethane Supply Co has some pretty cool and easy to use product that don't cost terribly much, there are probably other suppliers as well. I laid my bike down about a month ago and had holes punched in my fairings all down the left side, a few around the size of yours but mostly smaller. Used the  PlastiFix and the spots i really took my time on you can not tell. Again just what I would do, it takes time and patience though.

Look at some of my project build pics in my thread. I took the OEM fairing, plastic welded a piece of ABS plastic on the backside and used body filler to fill it in and sand smooth. If I had your fsiring, that's what I would do

The headlight shape reminds me of a gsxr but the size/shape of the fairing is very streetfighter-ish, almost like an 08 Kawi Z1000.

looks like this:

Either it was painted, does it match exactly? OR came in a similar blue to your bike.

Looks pretty good. I had that fairing saved in my ebay as a reference.

Yeah just getting home from work.

Now OP please get us some more pictures from the front, side etc.

Its always good to see how these alternate lights look.

THanks!

It doesn't look like it was painted. I would say its a dead match to the link puma put up.

I didn't put it on it was the PO so I can't say for sure.

To tell you the truth I want to go back to original headlight/signals if anyone knows where I can get the whole setup reasonably cheap.

The bracket that holds it is cheap at best and it rattles like crazy anywhere over 30km/h.

That being said I guess I could just fab up some new brackets for it.

Anyways here's a couple more picks

Sweet.

When you get time get some full on shots to see how it sits with the whole bike.

Post up in the wanted section.

Obviously Ebay has used stuff as well.

Glad that rock hit the fairing!! .... Instead of you!!! ....  :thumb:

You and me both. Ballistic jacket or not I'm pretty sure that would have left a mark.

Here's a couple more photos of the fairing

In my opinion that is a sharp light on the gs!

Thanks for the pictures..

How well does it light the road?

Yeah looks like someone cobled together a bracket, but otherwise its sharp. If it lights up well thats cool looking.

THanks! Let us know what you decide to do.

It lights the road remarkably well even with the vibrations.

With a new bracket and it only costing $50 I would say if its your style then it's worth it. Like I said though your going to need to fab up some stiffer brackets.

I'm thinking I'm going to make some up at work out of 1/4" crs (cold rolled steel).

I will post some picks and how I did it when I do.
