Looks like I will be moving on from a GS500 again.  It's a great around-town bike, but since mine was a non-running crashed bike when I purchased it, I put too much of my own labor and money into engine repair.

My next bike will be one of the bikes in the title because they are all fuel injected, come winter they will cost $3k-$4k, and they have tend to be praised as being better than the sum of their parts.  I am looking for I-have-ridden-one-of-these insight, not I-read-the-spec-sheet insight.

I own a 919 and have ridden the 1000 Versys.

First, of the Versys I would rather have a 650 VStrom (Also ridden one).

Here's my review of my 919 http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=52805.msg620464#msg620464

My review of the Versys 1000 against the VStrom 650 http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=52805.msg700641#msg700641

From your choices, however, I'll take the 919. Of course, I am biased  :icon_mrgreen:

Go over the reviews and if there is anything you still want to know, ask...

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Would the street triple or f800r be on your radar?

Or lash out and go into debt for a new FZ09  :icon_twisted:
