Wanted: 02' stock headlight ass'y

Hi everyone

I'm looking for a stock 02' headlight ass'y.

I currently have this on my bike



It rattles like crazy and I don't really like the look of it.

I'm assuming that I'm going to need everything with the headlight including mounts and wiring.

Anyone know where I can get one?

I have an OEM headlight with the front stay and your choice of a blue front cowl with a broken tab and a little road rash or a black bowl that needs nothing. I also have a front windshield around somewhere

Will an 07' fit on an 02'?

With a lil work it will but honestly, unless you are good with a welder on know someone who is, yiou might not wanna go that route. I missed the part of you having an 02

No worries.

Not sure if I want to put that much into it at this point.

If nothing else turns up then I might take it. No worries with the welding I could take care of that I'm just not sure if I'm looking for that much work at this point.

Speaking of work if anyone has a pipe for sale or knows a good place to grab one let me know.

You would take a piece of 1/4 or 3/8 flat bar at about 4-5" long and put in in the from stay and mark the 2 holes, then drill them out and bolt it in place. Place it on the front yoke tube on the bike and mark the frame when you get it's height where you want it. Take the flat bar out and place it on the tube, tack each side with your welded and then follow up with a bead. Hit it with some Rustoleum paint and you're done.
