I picked up a bracket/headlight assy for F to E Conversion, but the outer ring/rim is bent. Also, I'd like a clear lens. What are my options for replacement?
I did some research, and it seems that -
A) Rim only - Ebay, OEM ($40... no), or an aftermaket (does one exist?)
A1) Replacement Clear lens??
B) Ebay Chinese replacement for the whole housing, which will probably take weeks to get here.
C) SV650 Aftermarket 'OEM Style' Replacement from Delkevic
D) Some other option that I haven't considered?

I'm trying to keep expenses to minimum.

Post in the "wanted / for sale" section? Always works for me....

It's opener there in the wide open air...

The reflector in that eBay Chinese replacement is poor....the original Suzuki has a more intense/more defined beam(same bulb).I enquired about returning mine & was given a $20 refund as compensation.
When i get around to it i was thinking of converting my light to HID since the bucket on the Chinese is plastic & easily worked(need more bucket space cos of the longer HID bulb)
I have not looked yet about swapping over glass only.
The Chinese & Delkevic's look the same to me.  :dunno_black:

hmm, you're right, so it's like paying for expedited shipping ;), although sv forums had good comments about delkevic's. There's also an emgo headlight (complete) but with a sealed beam lens.

The Emgo can't be sealed beam cos it says "Replaceable H4 Halogen bulb"
Pity we can't see actual pic comparisons of a working light compared to an OEM,compare reflectors.
