I found a place that would mount my tire for $30. Now I need to buy the tire. Whats a good online store for purchasing tires? Sorry if this gets asked alot but I used the search and only found out dated threads.

I'd check prices from Motorcycle Superstore, Jake Wilson, and Dennis Kirk.  Varies from time to time on best deal.  Others here will have their favorites too.

Thanks! Those were just the sites I was looking for.

Also check [Chaparral MotorSports] and [Rocky Mountain ATV/MC] (which I think is the same outfit as [Jake Wilson])  just for kicks.

Yes they are the same place Kerry, I was going to comment on it when you mentioned it was your local place in another thread the other day but I forgot.  Seem to forget a lot now a days.  :icon_lol:  The 140/70 rear Roadrider on my bike right now is from Jake Wilson.  They had the lowest price at the time and a week later they were high when another member inquired, that's the nature of this business.

Yep, shop around on tires for sure!  Just ensure you buy them from a trusted place, of course.  The prices seem to change frequently everywhere... sales here and there and so forth.  Be sure to adjust for shipping costs if necessary.

I bought my tires on Revzilla, same place I get my gear. Their prices may be a few bucks higher than some other places, but their customer service is unparalleled.

I buy tires and have them mounted at my local dealer Aurora Suzuki.
I watch for a 25% off sale and order them. Mounting is free (if rims off the bike).
By the time you add shipping and mounting, it works out the same when Aurora has a sale. Plus it is a good idea to support your local dealer or soon you may not have a local dealer.

Hi there,
I highly recommend Competition Accessories (compacc.com) as well.
Great service, great prices, FAST and free shipping.
I just bought a set of Michelin Pilots, two HJC helmets and more and was thrilled with this place.
I bought from them before and can't recommend them highly enough.  :)

Now whatever you do, AVOID Bike Bandit. Long shipping times, long order processing times and poor service.

Good luck man.

Yours,
Trwhouse    :)
